Design and create written, visual and digital content for the church website, social media pages, and weekly email newsletter. In 2020, I led a full redesign of the church’s website, overseeing the transition to a new platform and designing the updated site. You can view examples of my work with Mt. Hickory Metro Convention Center & Visitors Bureau
Marketing Intern
June 2024 – August 2024
Manage communications and marketing efforts for a church community of 700+ members, including creating and distributing a weekly email newsletter, worship bulletins, social media content, and other in-house marketing materials using Mailchimp, Canva, and Squarespace. Coordinate communications and media outreach for major church and community events while collaborating with pastors and ministry leaders to promote programs and initiatives.
Managed daily communication with clients and helped execute strategic public relations initiatives. Worked closely with the partners to ensure all deliverables met deadlines and quality standards. As a proactive communicator and problem-solver, I helped strengthen client relationships and contributed to the overall success of each account.
Assisted the account executives and co-founders by drafting media pitches, press releases, and speaker submissions to elevate client visibility. I also built press lists, created KPI reports, and assisted with social media management, contributing to the execution of strategic PR campaigns.
